The death certificate of chess master Hugo Fähndrich who died of arteriosclerosis on July 2nd, 1930 at 8 p.m. in the Lainz nursing home in Vienna (the date of death on Wikipedia is wrong). Fähndrich was one of Schlechter's seconds during his 1910 match against Lasker. #Chess
The famous violinist, David Oistrakh (b. 1908, Odessa; d. Amsterdam, 1974), pictured at home in Moscow in 1958. Like Prokofiev, he was an avid #chess fan; the two played a match in 1937.
